Awareness Ribbon's are BS

I never understood these Awareness Ribbons. They do nothing but make the person wearing them feel better. Better because they are not doing anything, but they think they are. Better because they are smug, they care and you don't. Same thing with Internet petitions. Reminds me of hippies thinking that smoking pot, listening to anti-war songs, and just complaining about authority will change the world. What BS.
