.50 Comparisons

I was firing off my Mosin Finn, and started to feel some pain in my shoulder. Unfortunately, I was flinching. This made my accuracy terrible.

So I was comparing the 7.62 x 54r ammo to the 50 cal. Look at the .308 (similar to what I was shooting), and the .50cal (which i will be shooting in a few weeks).

Two of my favorite forums are down. What are the chances? One is about Cape Cod, the other about shooting. They are not related in any way.

Second Life

Trying to figure out SL. I was a beta tester many years ago. Now when I go on, the graphics improved, and the new features are great... The problem is that there is really nothing to do, and its corrupt as hell with beggars. I have tons of L$ and when I cash through pay pal they want a piece of the pie. Would love to play some decent poker, but its all low stakes and hacks PM'n each other.

When I first got my .40 cal in double action only, my range was about 10 yards. Now I can easily hit one inch groups at 25 yards.

SALT LAKE CITY - SkyWest Airlines apologized to a passenger who said he wasn't allowed to use the restroom during a one-hour flight and ended up urinating in an air-sickness bag.

James Whipple said he had two "really big beers" at the Boise, Idaho airport. While on a flight to Salt Lake City on March 7 he wanted to use the cabin restroom.

The captain had declared it off-limits during the short flight because a light wasn't working.

Whipple said he had used the cabin restroom before the plane departed but had to go again and finally reached for the air-sickness bag.

"It was like I had no choice," Whipple told The Salt Lake Tribune, which posted the story on its Web site Friday.

No other passengers noticed Whipple using the bag, but a flight attendant asked him about it and told the captain, who called airport police.

Whipple was questioned and took a taxi home to Sandy, a Salt Lake City suburb.

The airline sent him a letter of apology and a flight voucher, SkyWest spokeswoman Sabrena Suite-Mangum said Friday.

She said SkyWest decided to go ahead with the flight and get the light fixed in Salt Lake City, rather than delaying it or canceling it for repairs.

"For such a short flight, we really felt we were trying to inconvenience the least number of passengers possible by operating that flight," Suite-Mangum said.

Hard Days Work

After a hard days work, I finally relaxed and solved Splinter Cell, Double Agent. This game almost made me cry due to its story line. That Sam Fisher is a bad ass that would put your 24 hero's to shame.

The only problem I had was that the game was so full of bugs that I probably spent 6 hours troubleshooting. This is the PC version I played. Guess I need an XBox or something.

On to something else; I tried Scarface and left that to rot. Godfather I played for a while, but was not interested. I need some good PC violence.

Worthless Meetings

My daily life seems to involve soul sucking bad meetings. I hate wasting my time on something that has achieved nothing, or makes people feel good without really following up with goals discussed. Never accept any meeting booking that does not include an agenda. Status meetings = screw off; I am busy.

This product will either be revolutionary like the IPod, or a flat out failure. The thing that scares me is that it uses a touch screen. Touch screens have not been popular ever, and this may change that.

[begin whine]After 10 calls and 3 email messages from them, I am concerned that they will shut down my site with no notification again. Terrible communication. I would have to say one of the worst support I have ever received. My site is mirrored in a lot of places, but my e-mail is critical. I looked again at my records, and I have been paying these people for 9 years now with multiple domains. This is how they treat a long term, faithful, customer.

I have no major problem with overseas support. But terrible attitudes and horrible accents is just not right for a good consumer. Especially when none of this was my fault.[/end whine]

Yep its fake. I got it from Jeff Shooter Supply. He had an ad in shotgun news for this fake silencer for the Mac11, so i took the chance and bought it. Its solid aluminum. Great deal for $35 + shipping. You can see the old one has been welded over and over. Well no need for that now.

Problem I had on the range was my first broken shell! The round actually exploded and left itself in the barrel. I am glad I caught it.
