I am insane

I mean it, society has made me a nut job.
Greenpeace activists who arrived Thursday morning at a conference on the nuclear issue at Tel Aviv University stripped in protest a few moments before the start of a speech by President Shimon Peres.
The protestors carried leaflets bearing the messages "strip the Middle East of nuclear programs" and "a new Middle East = clean from nuclear programs." They were briskly removed from the hall by security guards.

Duke: The lights are growing dim Otto. I know a life of crime has led me to this sorry fate, and yet, I blame society. Society made me what I am.
Otto: That's bullshit. You're a white suburban punk just like me.
Duke: Yeah, but it still hurts.

General to Captain

I was reminded of a famous "temporary" General that was a Captain later in life. Reminds me of how he kept going through this demotion. Though we know that everyone face the time of death, but we all prefer to live in artificial gratification. The more he wants the wealth, the more he gains in life. But the finale stage of any life is the phase of death.

Strange Days

The last few days have been strange. And I mean strange! I took a few days off, and its seems I missed out on a bunch changes at work.

Reminds me of this TV show that I keep seeing at the Brazilian grill. There is a honey on it, and it has some freaking parrot that is always cracking jokes as it shows these news segments of serious issues. WTF. I now frequent the bar there about twice a month.

They also have these snacks called "Torresmo", which is free. It really just the leftover fatty meat left that they grill the hell out of. It basically fresh greasy pork rinds. Good Stuff, and I chow on it, because my doctor said yesterday that my cholesterol is VERY low!

SWE 40

Four Seasons is selling these sweet handguns for $299 cash. Got to love the action. They are then best bang for the buck. You can get two magazines with the purchase, and a $50 rebate. The Sig's sell for $479. With the same rebate and two mags.

I want one, but nothing will replace the Glock I own :) Peace out!

485 Town Votes!

I did not make it, but I am very happy that I got 485 votes. I spent under $200 in campaigning, so most of those votes are word of mouth. Heck, I never expected to get 100 votes, let alone that much. I only have a minor regret; I should of tried. But feeling things out and getting my name out there was a good thing.

It was a wonderful campaign, made many friends, and made new allies. Definitely worth it! My favorite part was being on the street, and at the polls, meeting the people. My congrats to all the winners, and I am happy to see at least three people on the commission that I do like. I will continue to follow this commission closely.

I am only a little disappointed to see most of the same crew still in office. People want change, and its not going to happen as fast as some of us would like. I believe the new Charter Committee will help move the town of Barnstable slowly into a Mayoral future.

Next up; Town Council!

Its been a great year, and its coming to an end quick. I still think of the best vacation of my life this year in Brno, he's a vid.

Every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it
